奥利弗·普莱特，男，1960年1月12日出生于安大略省，加拿大演员。
他是一个职业外交官的儿子，他的童年时光是在华盛顿特区、亚洲和中东渡过的。1983年他从杜福兹大学毕业，拿到了艺术学学士学位。
他一直从事戏剧研究，1988年他在影片《上班女郎》中出演了角色，从此进入电影业发展。他出演过众多的影片，但大都担当配角，不过他的演技还是颇受肯定的。
