埃德娜·普文斯，
埃德娜·普文斯（1895年10月21日-1958年1月11日），查理·卓别林许多早期电影的女主角，在短短的8年中，她与卓别林一同出演的电影超过了30部。
（英语：Edna Purviance，发音：Purr-VYE-ance，1895年10月21日－1958年1月11日）是一位无声电影时代的美国女演员。
在1915年，埃德娜·普文斯在旧金山当秘书，当时卓别林身在加利福尼亚州的费利蒙，正忙于他与Essanay工作室（英语：Essanay Studios）合作的第二部电影，而费利蒙到旧金山只有38英里，不足今天一小时的车程 。卓别林一直在为电影《A Night Out（英语：A Night Out）》寻找女主角 ，合伙人伙之一在旧金山的一个咖啡店发现了普文斯 ，认为她可以担纲出演。卓别林同她开了一次会，虽然卓别林认为对于喜剧角色来说，她可能会过于严肃了，但她最终还是获得了这份工作。
在卓别林1915年至1917年拍摄电影期间，他与普文斯建立了一段浪漫关系。普文斯在卓别林的33部电影中出现，包括1921年的经典电影《寻子遇仙记》。她与卓别林合作的最后一部电影是《巴黎妇人（英语：A Woman of Paris）》，当然也是女主角。她其实还演了其他两部电影，一部是《海的女人（英语：A Woman of the Sea）》（又称《海鸥》）——但卓别林一直没有发行，另一部是于1927年发行的法国电影《Education de Prince（英语：Education of a Prince）》 ，之后她就退休了。她还客串过卓别林最后的两部美国电影《凡尔杜先生》和《舞台生涯》；在她去世前卓别林一直给她发工资。

目前有一个请愿活动要求好莱坞星光大道给普文斯颁发星章，以纪念她在电影业上的贡献。
在影片中《卓别林传》 由佩内洛普·安·米勒（英语：Penelope Ann Miller）饰演普文斯，还有在近来的电影《Madcap Mabel（英语：Madcap Mabel）》（2010年）中由凯蒂·马奎尔（英语：Katie Maguire）在片中饰演她。
