奥列佛·哈台，
奥列佛·哈台（Oliver Hardy），1892年1月18日生于佐治亚州亚特兰大，1957年8月7日卒于加利福尼亚州北好莱坞。自1913年起在喜剧短片和普通故事片中扮演配角。1926年，哈台来到H．罗希的电影制片厂，与斯坦·劳莱搭档演出，逐渐发展成美国电影史上颇为成功的、固定的双人滑稽电影演出班子。自1927年他们合作的第一部影片公映，到1950年最后一部影片为止，共拍摄长短滑稽片100余部。他们的重要影片有《大买卖》(1929)、《请原谅我们》(1931)、《魔鬼的兄弟》(1933)、《从西方来的路》(1937)、《飞鬼》(1939)等。
